The
SL7000 is a data logger that has a very flexible combination
of inputs from a single temperature input up to 4 universal
inputs each of which can be individually configured to accept
any combination of the following input types:
- RTD
/ Pt100
- Thermocouple's
(J, K, T, R, S, B, N)
- Cu
- Ni
- mA
- Volts
- mV
- Thermistors
- Slidewire
All
SL7000 data loggers have an internal temperature sensor and
a digital input which can be used as a trigger to start logging
or as a pulse counter for interfacing with flow meters or
other sensors with a pulse output. |

An optional internal relative humidity sensor with ±2%
accuracy is available on all units as well as an optional
external temperature and relative humidity sensor. This gives
a total of 9 channels - internal temperature, internal pulse
counter, internal relative humidity, external temperature
& relative humidity and either two or four universal inputs.
All
SL7000 series data loggers are powered by their own, user
replaceable battery, that has a typical life in excess of
8 years. Each SL7000 has enough memory to record up to 62,000
readings and the four universal channel data loggers can take
128,000 readings, at intervals from 1 second to 24 hours .
Each data logger can be programmed to stop logging when the
memory is full or over write the oldest reading.
The
SL7000 features unprecedented accuracy, combining our extensive
knowledge of instrumentation precision with data logging technology.
High end resolution of 16 Bit for all universal inputs and
a modular build ensures that the unit is competitively priced
whatever the application.
An optional on-board LCD display shows selected channel information
and the integral LED displays provide immediate scanning and
alarm status information.
The
logger can be set to start logging immediately, start on an
event (either a trigger event or the exercising of an external
digital input) or start with the application of an external
magnet (provided). This feature enables loggers to be set
up in advance of the mission by a supervisor and to be launched
at the start of the journey / log period by an operator. |
The SL7000 series data loggers are connected to the computer
via a USB cable (provided). It is possible to network up
to 64 devices using regular USB hubs.
Data
is downloaded to a computer using the free TempIT-Lite software
via its USB interface.
TempIT-Lite allows all parameters to be set up and the logger
issued, it also provides for data download, data storage,
graphing and printing.
TempIT-pro,
contains all the functionality of TempIT-Lite but with
the added benefits of a data table, multi-trace graphing,
export to spreadsheet function and the facility to email
graphs anywhere in the world*.
Data is easily exported is comma separated value format
(CSV). That can be imported into spreadsheets programs
like Microsoft Excel or Lotus 1-2-3.
An
in-built email facility enables graphs to be sent to
remote locations. Emailing the graph is a useful function
for goods inwards inspectors who need to have quality
approval before accepting shipments.
TempIT pro is available in three versions:

Single User Licence: This enables TempIT pro to be
installed a on a single machine

Multi-User Licence: This enables TempIT-Pro to be
installed on up to 10 machines

USB Key Licence (version 4 only): This enables TempIT-Lite
to be installed on as many machines as required .
To upgrade Lite to Pro on any machine, you simply
insert the USB key into an available USB port.
The
SL7000 is also available without the LCD option although
the alarm LED's are still provided to indicate the alarm
state of each channel - flashing GREEN if and alarm condition
has not been encountered or RED if it has.
