Smart Monitoring in Food Production & Storage

Client Challenge:
A large-scale food production company operating across two expansive sites—comprising bakeries, warehouses, and cold storage facilities—needed a reliable, real-time monitoring system.

Their goal was to ensure consistent quality and safety across every stage of food processing, from raw ingredients to finished goods.

The Solution:
To meet this challenge, 24 wireless transmitters were strategically deployed throughout the facilities, including hard-to-reach areas, with the help of signal repeaters. These transmitters continuously monitor critical environmental conditions such as:

  • Baking temperatures in ovens
  • Blast freezing and cold storage
  • Chilled produce and ingredient storage
  • Ambient humidity in sensitive zones

The system covers a wide temperature range—from +300°C in ovens to -28°C in freezers—ensuring full visibility across the entire production and storage lifecycle.

Why It Works:
The buildings, constructed with insulated panels, posed a challenge for signal transmission. However, the use of repeaters ensured seamless data flow, even in the most insulated and remote corners of the sites.
